Fraxel Dual Restores More Oct:10

The non-invasive Fraxel re:store laser treatment just got better! We now have the newest technology, Fraxel DUAL, which effectively targets the skin surface to produce smoother, fresher and younger looking skin.

Fraxel re:store Dual boasts two different laser wave lengths for separate treatment modes: one specifically treats concerns that are deeper in the skin layers such as wrinkles or scarring. The second treatment mode is new and effectively targets more superficial issues such as sun spots, age spots and tone and texture. The results are remarkable.

Fraxel Dual can be used on any area of the body, including the face, hands, neck and décolleté. Results appear within a week after treatment, and continue to improve over time. Some patients may require multiple sessions for best results, depending on the desired outcome.  Additional sessions are generally spaced two to six weeks apart.

In September 2010, the Fraxel Dual laser system received US FDA clearance for the treatment of actinic keratosis, a common precancerous skin condition caused by sun exposure. During a six-month clinical study of 21 subjects at several dermatology centers around the United States, there was an 83.5% average reduction of actinic keratosis lesions using the Fraxel re:store Dual. Each subject underwent a series of two to four treatments, spaced two to four weeks apart. During the study there were neither adverse reactions nor increases in the lesions reported in any of the subjects.
